“Holes” by over EUR 20 million has been recorded in the finances of Air France, revealed the French newspaper Le Figaro on Monday, before the completion of the audit process within the company. According to the daily “inexplicable” failure is estimated at between 21 and 24 million euros and is connected with the company’s activities in the period March 2007 – November 3, 2009. “95% of this shortage is explained by poor management, 5% – with the possible personal benefits,” said an observer asked by Release. According to a source close to Air France the company has spent “unreasonable” millions of euros. Quote management costs associated with expensive trips to the U.S., bathroom curtains, televisions. The overall findings of the inspection company is expected to be ready this afternoon, but Tuesday will be held an emergency meeting at Air France, which trade union representatives will be informed about the situation.
