The Japanese electronics maker Sony reported 7-times growth in profits thanks to cost cuts, the company launched last year, transmit Reuters. The positive financial result of the company jumped to 79.2 billion yen (about $ 871 million) on 10.4 billion yen profit reported for the third quarter of 2009.
