Panasonic presented management innovations

PanasonicPanasonic Europe, today launched a joint collaboration with SEAS-NVE – the largest energy company in Denmark, owned by consumers for the launch of pilot projects on construction of intelligent network management energy. The partnership program will lay the foundation for creating eco-homes future in Europe. To demonstrate how technology can help achieve the objectives of SOR15 in Copenhagen, the forthcoming event will be shown a prototype house, which will be equipped with the system Lifinity Home Energy Management System (HEMS – management system for domestic energy consumption ) by Panasonic and technology of the “smart grid” of SEAS-NVE’s intelligent regulation of electricity consumption in appliances, lighting and heating. “This collaboration at European level is only a first step towards wider deployment in the practice of energy management system, invented by Panasonic”, said Laurent Abad – CEO of Panasonic Europe.
“Panasonic system for managing electricity in itself embodies our latest technologies, designed to save, create and store energy at home, and ultimately, to reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere. In combination with smart grid “created by our product for intelligent control of energy consumption electricity in the home will help the imposition of a greener lifestyle without breaking the everyday way of being. ” Lifinity HEMS, developed by Panasonic Electric Works Company helps households to save energy such as electricity consumption displays. This is done through a series of measures such as smart metering of consumption, providing environmental advice and controlling heating, lighting and electrical work on site or remotely. Control is done using a series of displays, integrated into user interface and accessible through the control panel, personal computer and / or smartphone (mobile phone operating system). Networked sensors and devices connected to the main HEMS Technology Lifinity, help improve the entire power consumption in the home without loss of comfort. “The system Lifinity HEMS will give future energy users complete control over their use of electricity and heating,” said Thomas Mikkelsen – Head of Marketing at SEAS-NVE. “Moreover, the system connects directly to their smartphones, allowing remote Turn electrical appliances. Panasonic has long been among the pioneers in creating environmentally friendly technologies, and we look forward to the implementation of this cooperation and the enormous opportunities that it will offer our users.” System of the “smart grid” (intelligent network) of SEAS-NVE is based on a series of integrated electronic electric meters Echelon, whose readings are available via the Internet, using a simple IP connection. In her numerous measuring devices can share a single IP connection, allowing the system to be easily added new spectrum technologies. Prototyping eco-home will pass through two stages before being offered a large part of a total of 350 000 households, who are consumers of services of SEAS-NVE.
