The ticket sales and number of passengers on trains Eurostar, traveling from London to Paris and Brussels through the Channel Tunnel rose in 2009 despite a train accident in December that left more than 2 thousand passengers “trapped” in the tunnel hours, Air Force forward. Eurostar sales last year increased by 1,7 percent to 675.5 million pounds (774 million), while the number of passengers grew by 1.2 percent to 9.2 million.
